Tanessa & Liam came for a Visit!

Tanessa and Liam came down from Calgary for a visit and to help her parents move out of her childhood home. We met for lunch at Smitty's so that Samantha could see them to.

I completely forgot to take pictures until near the end and Liam was getting tired so he did not want many pictures but here are a few.

I'm an Auntie AGAIN!!!!

Ok so the toll is now 5 nephews to 3 nieces.....not sure how we are going to fix that as all siblings that could change those numbers I believe are done having babies last time I asked.

Anyways Cadence Appleyard was born Thursday, August 7th. She was 8lbs 6oz. We all thought that she was going to have a boy but nope Mother Nature had another plan.

This is Cadence with her dad. I just love these two pictures. He looks so excited and tender (just how we wish all our men would be all the time :)

Here are pictures of my two niece's Kenzie is the older one and then Rylie. They look like they were really excited about their new baby sister.

This is my Auntie Denise (I believe she is our youngest Aunt on our Mom's side).

This is my youngest, half-Brother, Tyler.

And this is my oldest, half-brother, Tyson.

Summer Storm

Here are a few pictures of the storm the came through on Sunday. It looked really dark out to the North and West for about 4 hours before the storm showed up. But when she finally did she came full force.

Day at the Water Park

The other day my cousin-in-law, Trish and her son Eric came down to visit for a few days from Winnipeg. Eric wanted to go to the Water Park so I called up Laura to see if she wanted to come with her boys.

Curtis had soo much fun and kept wanting Auntie to run through the water with him and get wet too. Some how I managed to just encourage him to run through and I just got a little wet from the spray.

Here are a few pictures of Austin in the little wading pool with Laura and some of Curtis running through the water.
We also got to see the new baby Swans (I this the correct term is Cygnet) with the mom and dad. There have been warnings out for people visiting the park to keep their distance as they are very protective of their babies so we stood back and I used my handy zoom lense to get these. I can honestly say I don't think I have ever seem baby swan's before in real life.

Our Mini Vacation

Jeff and I are back from our Mini Vacation. We left on Friday, July 4th bright and early around 8:30 a.m. and arrived in Fargo, North Dakota around 6:30 p.m. . We stayed until Monday, July 7th when we headed to Grand Forks and came home through Winnipeg. On the way down a herd of antelopes crossed the road right in front of us and I have to admit I have never seen a baby antelope before so I had to take a picture.

Our hotel in Fargo was exactly like a log cabin. We felt like we should have been on a ski hill not downtown :) I choose this hotel as it was brand new as it just opened at the end of February so I figured it would be nice and clean for Jeff!! He must have liked it and felt that it was clean/new enough because on our second night he actually walked with bare feet on the carpet!!!! That is just completely unheard of for him!!

We did a lot of shopping and took in the fireworks on Friday night which last 35 mins compared to our local 12 minute show so that was really nice. They also had some unique fireworks that we have never seen before I will attach a few videos if I can. We also went on a Pontoon Boat Ride on the Red River. There are a few pictures on the boat as well as pictures of the original railroad bridge support which they still use. There is also a picture of a cage which is actually where the Zoo at one time was the those cages were where the 2 bears lived.
