15 weeks TODAY!

So as the title says I am 15 weeks today...just about four months YEAH!

I am slowly starting to get a bit of a belly...more at night of course then in the morning. Here are a few pictures of where the belly is at :) for those that don't get to see me often.

14 weeks 3 days as of Saturday

So I "think" I may have felt baby move....I say think because I have no idea what it is suppose to feel like :) Basically I was sitting on the couch downstairs kind of curled up to my left when I felt this bump (like if you dropped a small bouncy ball into you hand) it totally caught my attention which is why it makes me think it "may" have been baby....I mean if it was anything that I have been experiencing I likely would not have noticed right??

So I guess time will tell...once I feel it a few more times then I will know!! Until then I will keep "thinking" it was baby :)

So I frequent this website all the time since planning our wedding...I have now ventured into the "Family Planning" section and I loooove these ladies..they are soo candid and real! Anyways for fun one of them found this site and it predicts what your labour, delivery and baby will be (sex, hair, eyes, height and weight). It is pretty hilarious so check it out on yourself to see what it says.

Check out this link - it's silly, but still fun to try.

Here is mine...this one I used 1 of 2 representing my birth sister.

The day you deliver, outside will be warm. Your baby will arrive in the late afternoon. After a labor lasting approximately 35 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 11 pounds, 1 ounces, and will be 17-1/2 inches long. This child will have medium violet eyes and curly brown hair.

This one I used 1 of 3 using my adopted family.
The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the early morning. After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and will be 21 -1/2 inches long. This child will have medium violet eyes and barely there blonde hair.

** I prefer the second one less labour and smaller child!!!

12 weeks 5 days

Morning all I just got back from my 12 week check up and all is good. My doctor gave me the results from our 12 week ultrasound which was done last Thursday, Feb 5. They read something like this, "One healthy very active baby measuring 13 weeks 4 days" YIKES!!! So that basically means that baby is measuring 1.5 weeks ahead of schedule!! Which could move our due date to August 9th!

So my doctor and I discussed this and (as I know my schedule very well) agreed that my due date of August 20th is most accurate and to continue to go by that. She just suggested that I be prepared to deliver early....yeah isn't that what most 38+ weeks pregnant women wish for!! I guess only time will tell.....

I got to also hear the heartbeat which was 160bpm (so is does that mean boy or girl?)...what a comforting sound that is especially since I don't have a belly, can't feel any movements yet so other then being hungry pretty much all the time...I have no other symptoms. Which don't get me wrong I am not complaining about...it just sometimes plays with your head and you start to wonder if indeed there is a little peanut growing in there :)

Well that's the update for now. Next ultrasound will be around 20 weeks which will be the first part of April....and yes we hope to find out the sex :) I know that most of you are hoping that we have a girl but honestly I think we will have a boy and I will be very shocked if the tech tells us girl!!

So what do you think we are having?? Any name suggestions?

12 weeks today...Goodbye First Trimester!

Ok here is our peanut at 12 weeks old. Not much to see but pretty darn neat to us :) The first picture is baby with head down and his/her feet pulled right up to their tummy. The second picture is a really squished baby with a leg straight in the air...honestly it makes me think of a frog leg:)

This is something I have waited my whole life for and it yet after knowing we have been pregnant for....9 weeks it still does not feel real.

The coolest/creepiest part of watching your baby on an ultrasound is that you can see it moving (a lot) but you can't feel anything!! Jeff just piped up and said, "just a worm swimming in you" yeah so sweet and just grossed me out more :)

Anyways I hope I get enough of a belly shortly because right now it just looks like I have gained some weight :(
