Sorry guys no belly shots in this post...maybe this weekend Jeff can take some.
This past week has been filled with a bunch of stuff! Jeff decided that he wanted to take the siding off our house and stucco it (not my idea but it takes less energy and stress to not argue at this point..sigh), so before he got into that job I convinced him that we HAD TO replace the sidewalk along the side of our home first because when it rains and or when the snow melts about 6 inches or so of water slops towards our foundations...which of course we all know leads to leaking in the basement and we have our basement finished and I am not about to have a WATER LEAK!
So his dad came over and the two of them took it out and hopefully Jeff can get the new one framed up and poured in the next couple of weeks.....as yes he has already removed the siding off our home and was going to
Typar Wrap (not sure how to spell) it today...sigh!
I tried to even buy paint for the babies room to keep him busy in hopes that the removal of siding thing was just a phase and if I kept him busy enough it may not happen but to my dismay he put the first coat on the babies room after I went to sleep on Wednesday so he had yesterday to take the siding off while I was at work...sigh.
Then on top of all that going on the contractor called to let us know that he should be at our house mid next week (May 27
ish) to build our new fence...YEAH....which means Jeff needs to get on taking the old fence down...I am
soo excited for the new fence...it means that the dog will no longer be able to jump the temporary snow fence to go visit everyone and anyone in
the alley....oh and did I mention he has to go through my garden after he jumps the first snow fence to get to the alley!! My newly as of last weekend planted garden!!!
Hmm what else is new or going on...oh yeah tomorrow Jeff and I are going to Bikes & Bulls in Saskatoon on Saturday
http://www.creditunioncentre.com/event.php?event=33-7cc2452b we have been going for a number of years and really enjoy it! I am also hoping to get some shopping in too but we will see how cooperative Jeff is ;)
Anyways I better sign off as this is rather long and I am about to leave for my
Glucose Test...bleh...where I have to to the hospital they take some blood, then I get to drink this orange pop (I am told compares to McDonald's orange pop but sweeter) within 5
mins and the SIT there for 1 hour when they take my blood again....so not very excited but it will be nice to know if we can rule out Gestational Diabetes from our pregnancy.
**If you haven't noticed I did not want the siding taken off this summer and am less then pleased that is gone...hence all the sighs......***
