Pictures & Hiccups!!

Here is my 28 week belly!! I can't believe how big it is getting..don't even recognize my shadow or reflection anymore...lol

Also on Sunday night I felt our little peanut have the hiccups for the first time...such a neat rhythmic feeling that last close to 5 minutes.
Hmm what else happened his weekend oh on Saturday while I was eating supper I kind of had my plate resting on the side of my belly when peanut kicked to hard it startled me and I just about upset my whole plate!! For those who have not experienced it, it is like being sucker punched...so you are not only startled and caught off guard it also hurts!!!
Anyways I better get back to work. Check up with the doctor is tomorrow when I will get my results from my Glucose Test so fingers are crossed that I do not have Gestational Diabetes!!

This week...

Sorry guys no belly shots in this post...maybe this weekend Jeff can take some.

This past week has been filled with a bunch of stuff! Jeff decided that he wanted to take the siding off our house and stucco it (not my idea but it takes less energy and stress to not argue at this point..sigh), so before he got into that job I convinced him that we HAD TO replace the sidewalk along the side of our home first because when it rains and or when the snow melts about 6 inches or so of water slops towards our foundations...which of course we all know leads to leaking in the basement and we have our basement finished and I am not about to have a WATER LEAK!

So his dad came over and the two of them took it out and hopefully Jeff can get the new one framed up and poured in the next couple of weeks.....as yes he has already removed the siding off our home and was going to Typar Wrap (not sure how to spell) it today...sigh!

I tried to even buy paint for the babies room to keep him busy in hopes that the removal of siding thing was just a phase and if I kept him busy enough it may not happen but to my dismay he put the first coat on the babies room after I went to sleep on Wednesday so he had yesterday to take the siding off while I was at work...sigh.

Then on top of all that going on the contractor called to let us know that he should be at our house mid next week (May 27ish) to build our new fence...YEAH....which means Jeff needs to get on taking the old fence down...I am soo excited for the new fence...it means that the dog will no longer be able to jump the temporary snow fence to go visit everyone and anyone in the alley....oh and did I mention he has to go through my garden after he jumps the first snow fence to get to the alley!! My newly as of last weekend planted garden!!!

Hmm what else is new or going on...oh yeah tomorrow Jeff and I are going to Bikes & Bulls in Saskatoon on Saturday http://www.creditunioncentre.com/event.php?event=33-7cc2452b we have been going for a number of years and really enjoy it! I am also hoping to get some shopping in too but we will see how cooperative Jeff is ;)

Anyways I better sign off as this is rather long and I am about to leave for my Glucose Test...bleh...where I have to to the hospital they take some blood, then I get to drink this orange pop (I am told compares to McDonald's orange pop but sweeter) within 5 mins and the SIT there for 1 hour when they take my blood again....so not very excited but it will be nice to know if we can rule out Gestational Diabetes from our pregnancy.

**If you haven't noticed I did not want the siding taken off this summer and am less then pleased that is gone...hence all the sighs......***

I had a GREAT last week!

So last week my wonderful boss said that I could have the week off to recuperate from the Income Tax Season (man I love him) so I headed off to Calgary.

Tuesday after lunch Samantha and her daughter Isabelle (5.5 mths old) left for Medicine Hat. Izzy traveled great! Minus the huge poopie diaper 20 mins outside of Medicine Hat...lol unfortunately I never thought to take any pictures of my nephews sorry guys.

What I can say is that as soon as I walked in Eli gave me bigs hugs and Sam just kept on hugging me over and over...too cute!

Later that evening after the boys went to bed I went through all of their baby clothes and stuff and was able to bring back a whole duffle bag full of used things that were in great condition! Thanks guys!

Then Wednesday morning off to Calgary we went. We met with Tanessa and Liz at the SouthCentre Mall (I think that is what it was called) for lunch. This was the first time that I met Liz's daughter, Ellie and man was she ever the most laid back content baby! After lunch Liz took Sam and Isabelle off to her house and Tanessa and I headed off towards her house.

I can't believe how big Liam, Tanessa's son has gotten. He will be a year old at the end of the month which has went soo fast. He is super adorable and of course loved me up!! Here are a few pictures of us.

As I was getting ready to leave, Tanessa helped load all my stuff for me (Thanks T) while I played with Liam. He is really getting good at walking and I am sure in no time he will be running around with mom and dad following.

Thursday morning Tanessa was playing around with her new, very nice, Canon Rebel XSi *yes I am jealous* and took this shot of me where I am 25 weeks. I could not believe how big I had gotten....just in case you don't believe me see my 24 week picture below!
