We finally arrived in Airdie where Kirk & Liz live around 11:00 at night only to discover that they were not home. As Sam and I wonder where they could be Sam remembers thinks she remembers Liz's cell phone number and gave it a call. It turned out that they were just two doors down hanging out with their neighbors for the first time.
On Saturday we went to the Chinook Mall in Calgary where we shopped at every maternity and baby store there. Can't help it when you got a pregant women on board (Love you dearly Sam). Sam was able to find some great deals on a pair of jeans and a skirt as well as a few shirts to make her expanding baby belly more comfortable. I soo can't wait until its my turn :)
Tanessa then brought baby Liam to the Mall to meet us for coffee. He is soo cute and I think Tanessa is an amazing mom already. Not to mention that she does not look like she just had a baby 2 weeks ago. It was really nice to visit when them for a few hours.
On Saturday we went back into Calgary where we went to the famous IKEA!!! I swear had I brought the truck Sam might have just bought out the whole store. (Love you Sammy). Needless to say she was still managed to squeeze a coffee table, end table and some shelves in my car.
After Ikea we were off to spend some time with Liam and Tanessa at their home. When we arrived he was having a snack so we sat around and visited. After he was finished I got to burp him (which I felt very honored). Then of course the photo shoot began. Poor little guy didn't know that the Paprazzi had come over!! He is very cute and I really see Tanessa when his eyes are closed as I think he has her nose and lips but as soon as he opened his little eyes there was Chris. He is a perfect mix of both his mommy and daddy.
After Kirk, Liz and Sam left Tanessa and I visited for another 4 hours or so and I stayed for supper. It was really nice to spend some time with her as it has been far too long since we last did that. I only wish that we lived a bit closer so that we could do it more often.
All in all I think that we had a great trip and it was really nice to get away. Although I am not sure I will EVER travel with a pregnant women again (love you lots Sam). Just kidding she wasn't that bad :)
