Our New Airconditioner

At the beginning of August we went to Buffalo Days (the fair) in Regina and when we got home we could hear an awful noise outside low and behold if it wasn't our beloved ancient air conditioner deciding that it did not want to work anymore.
So after very little consideration we decided that it was a relic and not worth putting money into only for something else to go wrong.
Therefore we ordered a new air conditioner.

Well Jeff called me on Wednesday at work to say that it was significantly larger than our old one and wanted to know where to put it I told him on the side of the house and we will pay the extra. He described the box of at least 3 1/2 feet x 3 1/2 feet and our old one (out of the box) was about 2x2.

So I came home after work and am REALLY glad we put it on the side of our house. The thing is HUGE!!! But we are now prepared for next summer lol!!

I was sitting in my living room when I noticed a pink glow coming from outside and when I opened the blinds this is what I saw. So I quickly grabbed my camera and ran down the street to get a better picture.

Getting Close on Basement Reno's

Ok so here we are now. We have it all painted except for the bathroom. Next we have to install the door frames and then the tile guy can come lay the tile in the bathroom and around the fireplace. Once that is completed the carpet can be installed and then it is just up to us to do the finished work (i.e. mantel around fireplace, baseboards and trim)!

I tentatively have the tile guy set to come the last week of July and carpet to be installed during the second week of August.
